Quality Float is written and managed by Karen Gerboth, a mom and higher ed communications executive who drinks too much caffeine and talks way too fast, forcing colleagues and friends to replay her messages in the vain quest to understand why she called. Throughout her career, she has had the chance to write stories about individuals who don't always make headlines but who are making a difference in others' lives and in their communities. Together with her husband and their three children, she currently resides in coastal New England along with a Golden Retriever named Rugby, two parakeets, Kiwi and Blueberry, and a bunny named Cookie Dough.
